Who We Are

The CJRT program, funded by the National Institute on Drug Abuse, is dedicated to training scholars who bring diverse backgrounds and research interests, converging with a shared goal to enhance health outcomes among individuals involved in the justice system. The CJRT experience fosters a robust, multidisciplinary, and collaborative research training environment, where scholars learn from their peers, CJRT alumnae, and program faculty. Leveraging mentorship from their home institutions and the CJRT program, our scholars embark on highly innovative research projects and participant in career development activities.
